German Shepherd Dog - Ghianna - Medium - Young - Female - Dog
Ghianna is a 7-month-old female German Shepherd mix. She was rescued from a high-kill shelter and is an exceptionally sweet puppy. She's housetrained, gets along great with other dogs, and LOVES to give out kisses! According to her x-rays, she was hit by a car at some point and her right hip and left knee were both seriously fractured. She was not given proper medical treatment after this injury and therefore her bones have fused back together on their own. As a result Ghianna's hip turns inward when she walks and she tends to walk a bit slower. She doesn't jump at all, presumably because her old injury makes it uncomfortable for her. Her back and spine appear to be perfectly straight, she has no issues with incontinence, and she has great muscle tone. She simply will always walk a bit "differently" due to the trauma she's seen so far in her short life, and she will need good-quality food and supplements to help her manage any discomfort. Sweet Ghianna is only 7 months old but has already seen so much pain in her short life, and we'd love to find a home for her with a family who will give her the love and care she deserves. She's a beautiful dog with a simply amazing soul, and you can see that in her eyes. She's begging for someone to give her a chance at a happy life.
Adoption fee for Ghianna is $150 which includes spay, microchip and all shots. If you would like to meet this love please email us at [email removed] or contact us on our Facebook page at /HEARTAnimalRescue.
